Availability: Cosequin is a non-prescription (OTC) product available as sprinkle capsules for dogs and chewable, roast beef flavor tablets for dogs. How this product should be used: Cosequin DS Capsule: The usual starting dose, for the first 6 weeks, for dogs 10-24 lbs is 1 capsule daily. After 6 weeks the dose can be reduced to 1 capsule every other day. The usual dose for dogs 25-49 lbs is 1 capsule twice a day. After 6 weeks, the dose can be reduced to 1 capsule once a day.
