To aid in the prevention and relief of constipation and other effects of fur accumulation of cats. Active Constituents: Paraffin oil, cod liver oil and vitamin E paste.DESCRIPTION A brown, homogenous paste with a characteristic vitamin odour and taste. Each g contains white soft paraffin 645mg, liquid paraffin 150mg, cod liver oil 50mg, Vitamin E 4mg and special flavouring. MODE OF ACTION Furlax contains paraffins, well known lubricant laxatives which safely ease the passage of faecal material.Cod liver oil, containing Vitamins A and D, is added together with Vitamin E, to ensure prevention of induced deficiencies of these fat-soluble vitamins, which can occur when paraffins are given alone over long periods.Administration is usually easy and may be accomplished with the minimum of restraint, owing to the pleasant flavour and taste of the formulation. INDICATIONS To aid in the prevention and relief of constipation and other effects of fur balls or fur accumulation of cats. DIRECTIONS FOR USE For oral use. Squeeze a 5cm ribbon of paste onto the cat's nose or tongue or onto the paw where it may be licked off. This dose (3.5g) is suitable for the average sized adult cat. For smaller cats adjust the dose accordingly.To relieve the symptoms of fur balls or fur accumulation administer once daily.To aid in the prevention of constipation (during moulting) administer once or twice weekly. Avoid prolonged use.More regular grooming will help prevent the formation of fur balls. If constipation persists or the animal refuses food seek veterinary advice.
